History

Back in 1999 we have started to develop products for Philips in Vienna. Our initial project focussed on the development of the RGB alignment station for the alignment of a 3 LCD projector light engine.

Since then MOD has move into the development of mechanical optical devices – such as projectors and 3 CCD cameras. In the meantime MOD is a well known company known for its engagement in the design and manufacturing of projector light engines. Several such products are sold worldwide.

MOD is currently employing 22 people – the majority working in R&D and engineering. MOD is equipped with a fully validated clean room with all supporting infrastructure. MOD focuses on keeping core competencies in house – therefore does CNC machining for core components as well and electronics assembly in house.
